Need a little help from the tech savy

Hello folks,

Okay, I have some video items that I want to upload to my little blog. I have quite a lot on stuff on VHS videotapes from TV and conference presentations, etc. over the years It looks like I will have to purchase a VHS to DVD converter. I will probably want to edit the video. Now, should I look for editing capabilities and/or software with the DVD converter, or will I be better off doing that on my computer once I have what I want transferred to DVD? BTW, my computer is a Mac. And for those of you out there doing this ie. upgrading your stuff to DVD which make and model did you buy? Which one would you recommend? Thanks for any replies. - Joe
