Aubrey Rike has passed away

I'll pass along funeral service details when I learn them.

Aubrey was a true gentleman.  He was already at Parkland hospital when the presidential limousine carrying the mortally wounded JFK arrived.  He was an ambulance driver and had picked up a man who had an epileptic seizure in Dealey Plaza prior to the assassination.  He was a voice of reason and calm compassion when various officials were fighting and swearing over whether JFK was to have an autopsy at Parkland or whether he was going to go back to Air Force One at Love field.  He was appalled at their behavior as Mrs. Kennedy could see and hear this ruckus.  Jackie considered Aubrey to be the only gentleman she met on the trip.

You will be missed Mr. Rike.
