JFK memorial in Canton, Ohio gets restored

Restoration work under way at Canton's JFK Memorial

The John F. Kennedy Memorial Fountain at Stadium Park in Canton was dedicated in 1966. Since then, upkeep of the memorial has been a challenge due to limited city finances. Stark County businessman and preservationist Steve Coon is heading the restoration of the memorial at no charge to the parks department.
