First look at the Edward M Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate

The Institute is being designed by world-renowned architect, Rafael Viñoly.

The overall site plan has been designed to work in harmony with the UMass Boston campus, the JFK Library, and the Columbia Point waterfront.



Street View
The facility will be designed and operated with sustainable practices, and is on track for LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.



Exhibit Space
The Institute will be a dynamic center of learning and engagement that takes advantage of cutting-edge interactive technology to provide each visitor with a unique and information rich, personalized experience that will bring history alive.
