The next Public Interest Declassification Board public meeting is Sept. 23

The Public Interest Declassification Board would like to invite you to attend a public meeting at the National Archives Building on Thursday, September 23 from 9:00 am to 12 pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to explore the use of technology to improve the declassification process.  Panelists will include leading experts from technology firms and public interest groups.  The meeting will conclude with a period for public comment.  An agenda will be provided in a forthcoming email.

Unlike other recent PIDB meetings, an RSVP is REQUIRED for this event, as seating is limited.  Affirmative responses should be sent to this address (pidb@nara.gov).  Those wishing to RSVP must do so by Wednesday, September 15 at noon.

Please direct any questions to this email address.
