Philip D. Zelikow and the new Kennedy book.

Please be aware that Philip Zelikow may have altered the tapes and / or transcripts in the new Kennedy book.  Sheldon Stern caught Zelikow on this when researching his book "The Final Failure," and comparing a tape to what Zelikow published in The Kennedy Tapes: Inside the White House during the Cuban Missile Crisis.  Stern wrote an article "Errors Still Afflict the Transcript of the Kennedy Presidential Recordings."   And another article, "What JFK Really Said."

I still recommend buying the book.

We will have to try to get the original material and compare.
