Dear friends,
Please allow me to celebrate my 60th birthday with you by announcing the posting today of a research paper I just completed on the two Zapruder film "briefing board events" at the CIA's National Photographic Interpretation Center (NPIC).
It's a story most Americans don't know about, and I decided it was time they started to hear about it. I recently completed transcripts of my 1997 interview of Homer McMahon, and my 2011 interview of Dino Brugioni; this work refreshed my memory, and revived my interest in this subject, and served as the immediate impetus for this paper.
Too much of our research is narrowly confined within the JFK research community, on chat rooms with a very limited audience. I decided it was time to start changing that. Here's the link: http://lewrockwell.com/orig13/horne-d1.1.1.html
For those of you who are still skeptics about the Z film's alteration, you really should read this; you might learn something.
The graphics in the middle of the piece---JPEGs of each of the four NPIC briefing boards, made at the second of the two NPIC events---are really outstanding. You can click on each image and magnify it. (Peter Janney took these outstanding photos at Archives II in 2009. They were used in interviewing Homer McMahon and Ben Hunter in 1997, and Dino Brugioni in 2009 and 2011.)
