Three masked gunmen attacked the offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo which is known for publishing cartoons of the prophet Mohammed. Some showed the prophet in pornographic poses.
They republished cartoons of him that were originally published in Denmark by Kurt Westergaard. Westergaard has been attacked twice but because of constant police surveillance he was saved.
And we should not forget that Salman Rushdie has to live in fear of being killed by these terrorists.
Charlie Hebdo published a copy of the magazine with the guest editor Mohammed.
12 people were murdered today as the top talent of the magazine held a meeting. The terrorists knew that today the top officials of the magazine would be in one room.
As I write this CNN is reporting that the suspects have been identified. Two are brothers.

As I write this Wikipedia, citing an NBC report, says the three have been identified and captured. One suspect was killed. They are Said Kouachi, Cherif Kouachi, and Hamyd Mourad.
