JFK's nuclear bomb shelter revealed

The NYT reports "The Long Secret Fallout Shelter Was a Cold War Camelot."

Tourists on Peanut Island, Fla., slipped into the bunker built in 1961 for
President John F. Kennedy as a radiation-proof haven near his Palm Beach home.

The shelter is stocked with lead-lined cans of drinking water.
And I bet it tastes delicious.

A communications center at the bunker.
Can you imagine the poor slob of a kid
who would have to make this thing work
during a nuclear war?

A presidential seal adorns the bunker, which Kennedy visited twice.
