Gerald Ford White House Altered Rockefeller Commission Report in 1975; Removed Section on CIA Assassination Plots

The National Security Archive has published the news that the Gerald Ford White House altered the final report of the Rockefeller Commission.  An 86 page report on CIA assassination plots was removed by then deputy White House Chief of Staff, Dick Cheney.

The 86 (actually 90) page report is on the NSA site.  It is largely uneducated, though there are a few lines and words still blacked out notably a paragraph on page 77.

It's just incredible.
