Shinzo Abe, former Prime Minister of Japan assassinated in Nara, Japan!

Shinzo Abe was speaking on a very small stage in the middle of a intersection when shot apparently from behind at close range by a handmade weapon similar to a shot gun according to early reports.

At the sound of the shot.  His assailant behind him.  Shinzo was standing on a small red box. He was campaigning for liberal democratic candidate.

The shooter is "Tetsuya Yamagami, a Nara resident in his 40s," according to CNN.
